Jatin & Radhika’s Close-Knit Wedding in a Royal Ambience

They first met over a coffee in Khan Market of Delhi. Having an extraordinary love story in Today’s time it took just one meeting for them to be sure about each other. They said yes and the wedding date was decided for April 2020. And, as you all know that the COVID-19 virus had just entered India, the wedding was postponed. But from this moment, the story only gets interesting.

How They Met

Jatin and I do not have the most extraordinary love story. We were introduced through a marriage bureau based in Delhi. Spoke a few times and then decided to meet in Khan Market over coffee. It took both of us just one meeting to be sure about each other. That’s when I realized that even the ordinary is God’s way of extraordinary!

How They Decided to Get Married

Our families met on the 18th of January and in a week’s time, we decided to have our Roka on the 25th.

Wedding dates were decided for April. All the preparations and bookings were done. Then COVID-19 happened. We had to make a decision which we never imagined we would take, the wedding had to be postponed indefinitely.

With so much negativity all around, I decided to take this time to get to know him and his family more and spend the maximum time with my family as this time would never come back. And then we decided to tie the knot in October. Special shout out to all the vendors who were cooperative in making the changes.

About their Wedding Festivities

Roka

This was the beginning of a lifetime of happiness. The theme was peach and cream. It took place before the pandemic in January.

Guru Ji Satsang

We always wanted to start the celebrations with  Guru Ji Satsang. It brought a whole new positive vibe after a tough year with the pandemic. Color theme was pastel pink and peaches with peacock motifs.

Engagement

That’s when he put a ring on me! The theme for this function was black and gold. The band All India Permit (AIP) made our guests drink and dance till morning.

Dhol Night & Mehendi

My grandparents always wanted my Mehendi and dhol to take place in our house. The color theme was pastel pink & green. It was a crazy night of food, dance, and lots of drinking! Around midnight, Jatin and his crew crashed the party to make it even crazier!

Cocktail Night

A crazy night which most of my friends don’t really remember because it was all about fun, dance, and laughter. Urban Turban Band did a fabulous job. The theme was blue and silver.

Haldi & Choora

This was a very emotional event for me and my family. The theme was all colors vibrant for it.

Wedding Day

The big day is finally here, and I should be nervous but I was rather excited because I knew that Jatin and his family will always be there with me no matter what comes in life. And to Jatin, I promise to give a life full of laughter and love. The theme was maroon, cream and gold.
