How They Met
Saanya Sharma, the Co-founder of Three Entertainment, recently married her long-time beau Rahul Vohra in a setting that felt like home to her. They have known each other since they were 5, and we love how they have united – from being best friends in school to becoming each other’s soulmates for life!
Their wedding showcased maximalist decor, which was trendy and out of the box. Saanya, herself a wedding designer for a design company, curated the celebration. She chose to break the trend of quiet luxury and instead followed her heart, creating a celebration rich in beauty and grandeur.
How They Decided to Get Married
Their Roka took place in 2023, as the opening night for Bastian in Dadar, which was themed ‘Disco Jungle,’ while their proposal took place amidst the serene backdrop of the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Kenya due to their love for wildlife. The three-day wedding festivities consisted of a Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, and the Wedding.
In a world where tradition often reigns supreme, Saanya Sharma, one of the creative minds behind Three Entertainment, weaved her wedding story, one that embraces uniqueness, flamboyance, and individuality. Having woven unforgettable decor for countless couples, Three Entertainment turned its artistry inward as its co-founder prepared to walk down the aisle. Saanya, alongside her groom Rahul Vohra, hosted a three-day celebration, promising nothing short of a masterpiece, which unfurled on the 15th, 16th, and 17th of February.

Reminding us all that the essence of love lies in the warmth of a home, this sentiment echoed through every facet of their nuptials, from the save-the-date invitations to the wedding decor and in-room hampers. Saanya shares, “We believe that a house becomes a home when it is filled with love. This is something Rahul and I hold very dear, and it’s exactly what we wanted our guests to feel. In each of our wedding festivities, we have tried to infuse this concept to make everyone feel a sense of belongingness and compassion that accompanies home.”
Mehendi
The festivities commence on the 15th with the Mehendi Ceremony, set against the backdrop of Manhattan in St. Regis, Mumbai. A fusion of vintage charm and contemporary flair, this celebration burst forth in a riot of colors and rainbows. Saanya was donned in an exquisite Shantanu & Nikhil ensemble, and Rahul, in a charming Abhinav Mishra. Thoughtful mementos like potted succulents that symbolize ‘Let Love Grow,’ and rainbow keychains added a personal touch to this extraordinary affair.
Haldi & Chuda ceremony
The Haldi and Chuda ceremony followed suit on the 16th, transforming the color palette to sun-kissed yellows and lush greens, beneath a stunning sunflower canopy. Saanya and Rahul were adorned in a bespoke orange ensemble curated by Saanya’s mother Ritu Sharma. The Wedding, themed ‘Love Laps at the Racecourse,’ unfolded at Gallops, Mumbai, enveloped in a setting of white and red hues. Both the bride and groom donned the quintessential red, the bride’s lehenga emblematic of a mother’s eternal love, designed by her own mother, Ritu Sharma, and the groom, in a regal red Sabyasachi. With finesse and skill, ace makeup artist Shradha Luthra worked her magic to accentuate the natural beauty of the bride for all her looks. Many notable celebrities including Kabir Khan and Kartik Aryan, and celebrity stylist Saanya Vohra attended the wedding to congratulate the lovely couple. An afterparty at the Gallops Banquet Hall capped off the evening, as the newlyweds revealed in the euphoria of their union. Through the lens of Ombre By HJ, every glance, and every moment of this artful wedding was captured, marking a celebration that simply exudes magic and emotion.
Sangeet
The Sangeet on the 17th continued with a floral fantasy, with black mesh flowers throughout the decor. Taking a step further, Three Entertainment designed the center stage to be a reflective structure shaped like a home, embedded with infinity mirrors, symbolizing the couple building a home together. Saanya dazzled in a statement Tarun Tahiliani, while Rahul exuded charisma in a Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna couture.
Wedding
As Saanya and Rahul tied the knot, they invited us all to witness a celebration that is as unique and radiant as their bond. Many times, we see truly one-of-a-kind weddings, and with impeccable vision, planning, and decor, this wedding stands to reiterate the power of love, promising to illuminate joy, laughter, and cherished memories for its attendees.
The Wedding Vendors
While the decor and designing were swiftly handled by Three Entertainment themselves, the wedding was orchestrated by expert planners MPIRE Events. Her two best friends and co-founders of Three Entertainment, Sanjana Shah and Aashna Lalwani, were Saanya’s backbone as she navigated through the whirlwind of emotions that came along with planning a wedding.
